Before launching Genius Capital Nexus, Niranjan commissioned TÜV SÜD’s North American battery validation labs and led multi-million-dollar equipment programs across the U.S. and Canada. His engineering work spanned battery testing lab build-outs, solid state sodium-ion battery research at the University of Waterloo, and research stints with Tesla, MIT, and Harvard Medical School, cementing the discipline that now informs every trading decision.

He has spent the past three years developing and personally running a proprietary futures program focused on CME equity index and energy contracts. The internal trading stack combines regime detection, order flow analytics, and disciplined risk overlays to keep discretionary drawdowns contained.

Current simulations of the automated trading bot, validated through multi-year walk-forward tests, signal strong risk-adjusted performance across a range of mandates. That engine is now being productized into a managed futures solution backed by the same scientific rigor that defined his engineering career.
